Destination Wedding in Massa Lubrense, Sorrento Coast

Ci sono storie che appassionano dal primo momento, ci sono coppie di sposi con i quali scatta immediatamente un feeling speciale e non sempre sai spiegarti il motivo, è così e basta. Credo fortemente nelle connessioni tra le persone e Alessandro e Lisa sono l'esempio lampante di quanto due persone possano dimostrarsi uniche nella loro semplicità e onestà. Il viaggio che mi ha condotto al loro matrimonio non è lungo, ci siamo sentiti per la prima volta a Giugno e chissà quale filo del destino ha voluto che io per la loro data mi trovassi completamente libero: un matrimonio per il primo Sabato di Settembre, una richiesta arrivata tre mesi prima. Detto senza mezzi termini, una follia. Ma era solo l'inizio di una serie di eventi folli: la corrispondenza Italia-America, i problemi nel trovare la giusta location, i consigli e la costante speranza che tutto potesse andare bene. Ho capito subito che Lisa non tralascia nulla e riuscire a mettere su questo matrimonio le è costato fatica, stress e una buona dose di salti nel buio. Non volevo deluderla.

Quel fatidico Sabato alla fine è arrivato, mi sono preso un nubifragio sulla testa non appena giunto in location, ho incontrato Alessandro lo sposo ed ero completamente fradicio e lui per tutta risposta mi ha sorriso e mi ha prestato dei vestiti asciutti. Quel giorno ho fotografato due matrimoni, uno in comune per pochi intimi e uno all'aperto con tutti gli amici possibili, in quella che è stata una giornata indimenticabile sotto ogni aspetto. Quel giorno sono stato in piedi 24 ore di fila. Quel giorno ho conosciuto due persone uniche, di quelle che speri sempre di poter incontrare nuovamente il più presto possibile. Quel giorno ho scoperto una location mozzafiato, Marecoccola, nel cuore della penisola sorrentina, ho scoperto la passione di Natalizia per l'organizzazione di un evento incredibile. Quel giorno sono tornato a casa stanco, distrutto, ma arricchito di un'esperienza unica che mai dimenticherò.

There are stories that fascinate from the first moment, there are couples whom a special feeling immediately starts and you don't always know how to explain the reason, it's just like that. I strongly believe in the connections between people and Alessandro and Lisa are the clear example of how unique two people can prove to be in their simplicity and honesty. The journey that led me to their wedding is not long, we've met for the first time in June and who knows who or what wanted me to be completely free for their date: a wedding for the first Saturday of September, a request that arrived three months earlier. That fateful Saturday finally came, I took a storm on my head as soon as I arrived at the location, I met Alessandro the groom, I was completely drenched and he just lent me dry clothes like it was the easiest thing in the world. That day I shot two weddings, one in the town hall for a few close friends and one outdoors with all possible friends and relatives, in what was an unforgettable day in every aspect. I've been awake for 24 hours straight that day. That day I met two unique people, the ones you always hope to meet again as soon as possible. That day I discovered a breathtaking location, Marecoccola, in the heart of the Sorrento peninsula, I discovered Natalizia's passion for organizing an incredible event. That day I came home tired, wasted, but enriched with a unique experience that I will never forget.
